Preface

Use the following picture guide to easily change the battery on your iPhone 6/6 Plus/6s/6s Plus. You should make a backup of your iPhone before changing the battery and then turn it off.

Step 1: Remove Pentalobe screws

Turn off your iPhone before you start the repair!

Remove these two screws from the bottom of the device with the pentalobe screwdriver from our tool kit.

Step 2: Open screen

Detach the display from the frame using the suction cup. Place it near the home button and pull carefully. Once there is a small gap, insert the metal plectrum and twist to further open the device.

Step 3: Remove cover

Remove the two philips head screws securing the metal cover on the battery connector.

Step 4: Detach connector

Remove the battery connector from the logic board using the plastic spatula.

Step 5: Replace battery

Remove the battery from the device. Very carefully pull the black ends of the adhesive holding the battery in place. You will find them stuck to the lower end ofthe battery. Pull them out from under the battery. In case the rip or you are unable to get them out completely, simply use the green plastic spatula fromthe tool kit to gently pry out the battery.

Warning! Be careful not  to puncture or otherwise damage the battery to  prevent hazardous  substances from leaking out!

Place two strips of double-sided adhesive tape from the tool kit in the frame to hold the new battery in place and install it into the device. Attach the connector to the logic board.

Step 6: Attach cover

Replace the metal cover on the connctor and secure it with two screws.

Step 7: Insert screen

Press the display back into the frame. Start by the speaker on the upper part of the device, then work your way down towards the home button. Make sure the screen is flush on all sides and that there are no gaps.

Step 8: Fasten Pentalobe screws

Secure it with two screws on the bottom of the device.
